Welcome to the Department of World Language and Cultures.

The department offers AA Degrees in French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Foreign Languages, as well as a Skills Certificate in Spanish Language. In addition to our language courses, we also offer courses in linguistics, literature, and civilization. Whether you're learning a new language to improve your employability, to study or live overseas, to discover new cultures, or to meet new people and to develop life-long friendships, you're bound to find the right course and instructor here at LAVC to begin your world language study!

Humanities and Communication CAP
